We applied for a grant so that our house could become disabled friendly, our local council agreed to the grant and after quite a long period of me sleeping in a single bed downstairs they fitted a through floor lift into our bedroom from the living room it took 2 days but it is fantastic! and Spud really enjoyed showing people and demonstrating how it worked!
A different company came on a different occasion to adapt our bathroom (which is downstairs)
they raised the toilet seat, put in a smaller bath and built a walk in shower with a front opening low door and curtain at the top so hubby could reach in to wash me! (pictures to follow) not of me naked though!
